Gong Xi Fa Cai
Honestly speaking, I'm really, really tired for the day. But it's the first day of CNY, supposed to enjoy it to the max. Thus, this post is going to be pretty short cause I'm quite drained for the long day.Had my reunion dinner at 9 plus since Dad was on full-day shift (that means he only ended work at 8pm). It should be called a reunion supper than a reunion dinner... Well, I did helped a bit in preparing for the steamboat, and I realised working about in the kitchen is so not my thing too. I almost created more trouble than be of some help. While having the reunion supper, I totally understand what they mean by "A hungry man is an angry man." TOTALLY.
Then, stayed up late. Well, it was supposed to be a custom which they call it "Shou Ye". It means that the kids actually stay up late on the eve of the new year as a custom to hope for longevity for their parents. For me, I'm used to staying up late at night (I'm nocturnal). Therefore, it wasn't much of a great difference for me.
However, there are seriously a lot of things undone. Even though I had done quite a few things today, I'm extremely tired. Guess I will still have to stay up late to finish them before I sleep. Goodbye my beauty sleep.
Meanwhile, shall reflect what are the things I have done and what are the things to be done for the night.
Completed:
1. Pack my sleeping room
2. Pack my cupboards in my sis' room
3. Change bedsheets for my mum
4. Collated junk from everyone in the house and threw them at the void deck
5. Helped Mum with some sai gang (some clearing and shifting of stuff, etc)
To finish tonight:
1. Wrap gifts for cousins
2.Pack bag for tomorrow's visiting
3.Manicure ( if there's enough time)
4. Set new goals for the year ( that is so unlikely to be done tonight)
5. Make sure everything is neat and clear (just appealing to the eyes will do :P)
