Last day with 1C02
Today is the last day for tutorial with 1C02. But I have my Calculus tutorial tomorrow, that makes tomorrow my last day of school, and it will end with the End-of-year Semester test which is 30% of my whole CDS...Oh my god...Well, had my final individual presentation today for Persuasive Communication. I screwed it up quite a lot, even though my friends said that I did pretty fine. Given a choice to choose a topic that we want to present, I chose: sleep early to stay healthy. Wanted to cut short on my speech, I decided not to follow my cue cards the very last minute and try impromptu. Thus, I only brought part of my cards.
And there it goes, I had stage fright, and was quite nervous. I became heavily dependent on my script and I left myself with a portion of the pathetic script of mine. Thus, my tongue became tied, I mispronounced quite a few words and I began stammering, affecting my fluency in speech.
Next, went for Photography tutorial which lasted for at most half an hour. Hmm, today's lesson was plainly submitting our group project. Accidents happened again. My group's photos were in 6R when the requirement is 8R. Most importantly, it wasn't our fault! Yesterday when developing, we told the uncle 8R. Somehow, due to the extreme cropping that might occur if we insist on 8R, the uncle resized for us and develop the pictures into 6R size WITHOUT TELLING US! He didn't even ask for our permission.
Initially, we didn't realize. We simply took the developed photos as 8R. Until we looked at other group's photos and dang! It was very much of a difference! The size was very off! Nevertheless, we had no choice but to submit the wrong size since we cant afford to reprint, be the cost or the time.
We handed in our mounted photos and explained to our tutor. However, it was not of much help since there is a specific marking criteria to follow when grading the project. Thus, we were going to be penalized...
After handing in the project, we headed down to Parkway Sakae Sushi for a gathering to remark the last day for 1C02..
Hmm, very depressing, cause I didn't have enough money for the buffet. Hence, ended up with Yi Ting and Keith sitting on a seperate table. We sang those songs we know. After a while, I could no longer take the hunger and ordered salmon sushi and salmon and mango temaki.
The salmon and mango temaki is delicious! Worth trying! The combination of salmon and mango is simply so heavenly! :)
Moral of the story, never let myself me bankrupt AGAIN!
